Originally from Ann Arbor, Dr. Whitehead attended the University of Michigan Medical School. She completed pediatrics residency at the University of North Carolina and stayed a subsequent year as Chief Resident. Prior to returning to Ann Arbor in 2018 to join IHA, she worked as a primary care pediatrician in a private practice in Frederick, Maryland for 7 years where she also was Chair of Pediatrics at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Dr. Whitehead has served as the Site Medical Director at Domino’s Farms Pediatrics since 2021. Dr. Whitehead’s clinical interests include behavior and development concerns, breastfeeding support, and preventive medicine.
